Men’s 1 v Stafford 1 – W 3-2
Stafford came out strong with a well-structured team and passed the ball round well. Bloss kept their heads high after going 1-0 down and quickly made it back to 1-1 with a goal from Ed, followed by his first green card of the game. Oli Horsler then scored a great goal to bring Bloss into the lead. However, some slight mistakes in the defence allowed Stafford to sneak another in to draw the score up. Luckily, Harry Mowat found himself in a great position in the D from a deflection off the keeper and Bloss took the victory. A great game was had by all but Man of the Match went to Oli Horsler.

Men’s 2 v Worcester 4 – W 4-3
A brilliant come from behind victory for the Men's 2s this week after going into halftime 3-0 down. The 2s started the 2nd half with better tempo and intensity and the pressure told with two quick goals from debutant Sam Jackson and Bloss stalwart Paul Russell. Chris Bevins, playing up front, scored his customary goal for the 2s when he equalised with 10 minutes to go, setting up a grandstand finish to the game. The 2s pressed for the winner and with less than 30 seconds of the game to go, Ryan Lane coolly finished a well-worked move, stunning the home crowd into silence, and giving the Men's 2s their first win of the season. Men’s 3 v Kingswinford 1 – L 14-2
What can only be described as a valiant effort by the Men’s 3s playing a team in a league much below their actual standard. The goals for the opposition started rolling in early with drag flicks and reverse stick undercuts coming as if from nowhere, as well as a couple of unlucky defensive errors by half time it was 8-0. The 2nd half unfortunately went much the same other than an excellent goal from Harvey and rocket of a short corner strike from Spenner. Some dubious umpiring which was vigorously questioned by Spenner led to an unnecessary sending off but we managed to keep their 2nd half goals down to 6 ending in the 14-2 bloodbath! Men’s 4 v Atherstone Adders – W 2-0
A convincing win with 2 first half goals, one from Andy Rice following up on a short corner and a great team goal that started in defence with several crisp passes through to midfield and a final pass to Jack Seifas who slotted past the keeper. Very good performances from the whole team. Man of the match went to Jack Seifas with second in the voting going to Paul Newbould on his first game back. Now Joint 3rd place in the table.

Ladies’ 1 v University of Birmingham – D 2-2
Drew 2-2. Vicki and Shep scored. Joint potm between myself, Scuz and Amelia Bogira.

Ladies’ 2 v Warwick 3 – D 3-3
Goal scorers Kat Vaughan, Elis Harrison, Helen Kavanagh. Player of the match Joint between Helen K and Jackie A.

Ladies’ 3 v University of Warwick 3 – W 7-2
