Solihull Blossomfield Ladies 1's hosted Leicester 2s needing a win to draw level on points. Needing points Bloss had to take the game to Leicester from the start and that is just what they did. Dominating the first half Vicki Shuter converted a penalty corner with a clinical strike into the right hand corner of the goal, followed up by Emily Perrin ensuring the ball crossed the line from a shot by Emily Terrazas-Cruz in open play taking Bloss into half time 2-0 up.

The second half saw Leicester react from their half time talk coming out strongly, however, it was Bloss who struck first with yet another clinical finish from player of the match Vicki Shuter this time firing the ball into the left hand corner from a penalty corner strike. Leicester were not finished though and came back with a goal in the last quarter of the game followed by a disallowed goal due to the ball going in off the back of a stick. Leicester on the front foot now were putting Bloss under a lot of pressure but Bloss goalie Olivia White was again in fine form. However it was not all over as Leicester were awarded a controversial penalty flick with a few minutes to go which they duly converted. Bloss held out for the last few tense minutes to take the much needed 3 points taking them level in the league.
